Tabitha grew up in a rural setting surrounded by animals. In 2002 she began learning about the world of dog sports after welcoming home her first Pharaoh Hound and realizing this dog needed more to do! Since then she and her Pharaohs have enjoyed competing in lure coursing, agility, rally obedience, conformation, Nosework, flyball, weight pull and truffle hunting together.

In 2010 she learned about the world of canine scent work with her reactive Rhodesian Ridgeback, where the vision of NACSW was a natural match for her personally. She and her Pharaoh Hound Sabia went on to compete in the 2017 Invitational (5th place overall) and in 2019 Sabia became the first sighthound to earn a Summit title. Attending countless trials and seminars, videoing trials with Doglandia, and attending the NACSW instructor training has provided Tabitha a deep understanding of the sport, about odor behavior, hide placement, and dog behavior. In 2022 Mind Body Canine, LLC was started, where her passion is helping you develop the ability to listen to your pup and become your dogs best teammate in the game.

Tabitha is currently competing in NACSW with her Pharaoh Hound Rei at the Elite level. Pharaoh puppy Amari recently joined the family after losing Sabia last year.
