Hi, I’m Emily! My love for dogs began as a child and grew into a career after adopting my rescue dog, Mia, and navigating her behavioral challenges. That experience inspired me to become a trainer and help other owners build stronger, more successful relationships with their dogs.
My training philosophy centers on clear communication, motivation, high-value rewards, and owner empowerment. I believe the best training doesn’t just teach a dog what to do—it teaches owners how to understand their dog, recognize challenges, and confidently work through them. My goal is to give you the knowledge and tools to create lasting change, not just rely on a trainer.
My experience comes from hands-on training, mentorships, classes with my own dogs, rescue volunteering and fostering, professional courses, and daily continuing education. I believe every experience is an opportunity to learn and grow.
At Dog Days, I’m excited to help you understand your dog, create a plan, and build the confidence to help both of you thrive in the real world.
