Cheyenne showed her first dog at 3 years old in a local 4-H competition and began competing in AKC at 9 years old where she quickly worked her way to being a nationally top ranked junior handler with her English Cocker and GSP.
During this time she began apprenticing under Professional Handler Randy Schepper where she grew in her skill set and passion for dogs. After working under Randy for 10 years he encouraged her to step out on her own as Professional Handler. Since then she has had the pleasure of handling a variety of breeds to Best in Show in multiple counties and finishing countless AKC championships.
Cheyenne got a love of teaching others all the way back in her years as a 4-H Junior Leader where she helped her peers and younger juniors hone their skills in showmanship and obedience. While she never felt passionately about pursuing obedience it did help develop her understanding of dog behavior and training.
Cheyenne has been teaching at Dog Days as well as teaching private lessons where she trains the dog and/or the person for over 10 years now.
