Class Description

Wish your dog could relax at your feet while you enjoy a latte? This on-location class practices real-world manners at a different local coffee shop each week. With upbeat coaching and small-group support, your dog learns to settle, focus, and shine amid clinking cups, doorways, and friendly strangers.

What we practice: Calm entries and polite passing in tight spaces; waiting while you order; “go to mat” and relaxed settle beside your chair; loose-leash walking; impulse control around food and floor crumbs; a reliable “leave it”; and default attention to you. We use high-value reinforcement, smart environmental set-ups, and short working intervals paired with decompression breaks so dogs can both do and exhale. Goal by course end: a confident team that can enjoy a 20–30 minute café sit with calm, quiet behavior and minimal management.

Who it’s for: Dogs comfortable around people and dogs at a respectful distance. If your dog shows fear or reactivity in public, contact us—foundations or private lessons may be a better first step before graduating to café field trips.

How it works: Locations rotate weekly; you’ll receive the meeting spot, parking tips, and any other notes in advance. Each session starts with a brief warm-up walk, then short training blocks and settle practice. You’ll leave with clear homework to keep progress brewing between classes.
